TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKINGS
Christ Arsenal Retreat Centre reserves the right to cancel a booking that has been reserved or booked. This is extremely unlikely, but should this event occur, you will be fully refunded and we will endeavour to inform you as soon as possible.
ADVANCE AND FINAL PAYMENT
- A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total payment is required at the time of advance booking for the use of the facilities.
- Full payment secures and guarantees the use of the retreat facilities which must not be later than two weeks before the proposed date of retreat.
- Full payment allows guests to gain access to the premises for use.
- A proof of full and final payment will be use as clearance to access the premises, without which no room keys will be given for access.
- Full payment should be receive not later than two weeks before the date of arrival or at the time of the booking, if this is within that two weeks
- Note that the facilities are available on first pay basis; part payment does not secure the use of the facilities.

- If you have contacted us and arranged to pay by cheque, this should be made payable to Christ Arsenal Ventures.
FACILITY ALLOCATION
- Bookings are only guaranteed after full payment has been confirmed.
- Allocation is based on actual room reserved.
- Allocations of rooms are for confirmed guests only.
- Allocated rooms are not transferable.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- Cancellation of group bookings or programs must be forwarded to our office in writing, by text or e-mail at least two weeks before the reserved date while individual booking requires a week notice.
- 50% of the expected total charge will be forfeited upon default on our cancellation However, where there is a replacement guest, the total amount deposited in advance will be refunded less cost of transaction plus N2000 administrative charge.
- The above rule is also applicable to situation where part of the rooms booked are cancelled.
- No refunds or reductions are made for accommodation and meals paid for and not taken.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
Unless otherwise pre-arranged, our normal check-in time is between 12p.m to 10p.m, and our check-out time is 11:59a.m (Monday to Saturday) but check-out time is 6:30a.m on SUNDAYS.
Note that check out time exceeding 12pm will be charged the normal booking rate for the day.
LODGING:
- The Centre can only accommodate 88 guests with maximum number of two people per bed for the standard bed and two per double bunk beds.
- Toiletries are available in all the rooms.
- Guests are to come with their own towels or make request before the retreat date.
- Duvet covers are not available.
DISCOUNT POLICY
5% discount is given on the total sum quoted in your invoice.
POWER
- We assure you 24 hours access to electricity through the combine use of inverter, generators and main supply from Ikeja Electricity Company.
- AC’s are only powered with electricity supply from Ikeja Electricity Company in all our rooms.
DAY VISITORS
We do welcome individuals or small groups as day guests to our retreat center, provided the following guidelines are adhered to:
- All day guests are expected to call our office in advance to check and confirm that we can take a day guest on their chosen date.
- Day visitors are asked to pay in full at the time of bookings.
- Day guests are welcome to be in our center between 10.00am and 4.00pm on Monday – Fridays.
- We request that you register by signing in and out at the reception.
- A day pass will be issued which must be worn and clearly visible.
- The Prayer locations are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
- We reserve the right to cancel booking where the need arises.
FACILITY RENTAL
We also let out our facilities for Christian activities or events. These include Christian
Business Retreat, Wedding Engagement, Small Wedding Programme, Wedding Reception, Marriage Anniversary, Naming Ceremony, Birthday Ceremony and other Christian related programmes.
ROOM SERVICES
Unless otherwise requested, our room service is self-service. Retreat wardens are available upon request.
FOODSERVICE
CARC does not cater for food but rather operates a self- catering service for guest. We provide a well equipped kitchen for individual/personal retreatants at a reasonable fee while kitchen spaces are only provided for group retreatants as they are to come along with their caterers and all cooking equipment.
Individual/personal retreatants can also order meals to be delivered to the centre from affiliated fast food restaurants.
Note: The kitchen space will be hired out at ₦5000.00/day.
DAMAGE AND LIABILITY
- Guests/visitors will be liable for the cost of repair or replacement of any damage caused to the buildings, grounds or properties of the Centre for which they are personally responsible.
- Damages are charged at the replacement cost of items damaged.
PRIVACY POLICY
- Personal information provided by guests are stored securely in the Centre’s records system and will be used solely for the Centre’s purposes. It will not be passed on to anyone else.
- We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.
Note:
- The maximum usage hours for our halls are 6 hours per day or night respectively. Programs exceeding this stipulated time will pay additional fee for the number of hours exceeded.
- A group must lodge at least 70% participants in order to enjoy lodgers’ rate for the hall.
- The generator runs for at most 6hours whenever the hall is in use,
- AC’s are only powered with electricity supply from IKEDCO in all our rooms.

LIABILITY DISCLAIMER.
Christ Arsenal Retreat Center and its employees do not accept liability for claims for loss of property or damage or personal injury arising from the use of CARC’s facilities, except to the extent caused by negligent conduct of CARC employees.
